Welcome to the Strictly Young People Ministries website.
As youth pastor at Times Square Church, I see young people learning daily to set their mind and affections on the things of God. His thoughts are becoming their thoughts and His ways are becoming their ways. They understand that in order to follow the Lord, self denial is not an option (Mark 8:33–34). These young people are not holding on to their old ways of thinking or trying to work things out in their own strength. They know that if they try to hold on to their life, they will in fact miss the life that Christ wants to live through them (Mark 8:35).
This is what we believe:
We believe that God has determined to raise up a great army of young people full of the life of Christ.
Like the dry bones Ezekiel saw in his vision, young people feel like “all hope is gone.” In other words, the things that they looked to for substance and trusted in for satisfaction have left them empty, hopeless and dry. They’re lost and have no sense of direction or purpose. Their unbelief has separated them from the life of God.

We believe that God has called us to stand in the gap for them.
Lamentations 2:19 says “Rise during the night and cry out. Pour your hearts like water to the Lord. Lift up your hands to him in prayer. Plead for your children as they faint with hunger in the streets.” We are to cry out to God on their behalf, believing and trusting Him to answer. We are to hold God to His promise by praying in faith and wait expectantly for the answer (Ezekiel 37:10).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the answer.
We are called to prophesy to the dry bones. In Ezekiel 37:4–5, the word prophesy means to proclaim God’s message under the influence of God’s spirit. As we speak, God’s message under the influence of God’s spirit, His plan will be accomplished (Ezekiel 37: 4–5).
