More Arrivals
The last outreach team arrived today along with the band and choir ensemble.  There are now 135 Times Square Church volunteers ministering throughout the city of Rosario.  During dinner, Pastor Carter welcomed the group, and then had them all take communion to remind them of the sacrifice Christ made for them.  He then asked that the group be willing to serve and wash the feet of the people in the local churches.

Toba Barrio
The staff attended a special church service in the Toba barrio to celebrate the one-year anniversary of a small church led by a Toba pastor.  The Toba Indians in this area of Argentina are the poorest of the poor. The staff team was touched by how much they had sacrificed to prepare for the visit. It was also evident to the team that God is doing something special in them. During the church service, despite the language differences, the presence and the power of the Lord could be felt in a magnificent way. We were all broken before the Lord.

Prison: A Place of Praise
The Prison team has been experiencing God in an awesome way as they visit the prisons. One team member reports: “when the team walked into one of the prisons we did not realize that we were walking onto Holy Ground. There were about 38 juvenile prisoners there but it felt more like a family than a prison. We shared our testimonies with them. The prisoners there were all hungry for more of Jesus and many were in tears.  When they started to worship we realized we were the ones being ministered to.  A strong presence of the Holy Spirit was there. They were crying out to their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They wept as they sang songs that they wrote themselves and we knew that the words came straight from God’s heart.  The words to one song said, ‘God if we go free give us the opportunity to talk about you.’ That day, 27 prisoners were baptized.  We later learned that these young prisoners are actually sent out and to other prisons as missionaries and have actually planted churches in these prisons.”

First Missions Trip
For one woman in the outreach team, this trip is very special. “For the first time since I’ve been saved I am on a missions trip.  I walked door to door with a brother from the local church.  We handed out invitations to the evangelistic rally and even as we did that we shared with one woman who accepted the Lord. I’m seeing the fruit of our prayers.”

Ministering to Street kids
In the barrios of Rosario, you can see a lot of kids on the street.  The teams played with the children, fed them and then cleaned the area where they were playing.

O
ne of the outreach teams spoke with a girl who has had many evil things happen in her life. She lost two children. One was stolen and the other was killed.  She said she was angry with God.  After one-on-one ministry with members of the prison team and local church members, God began to touch her and she began to smile.  Peace was all over her face as she walked away with a bible.

Pray for the Teams:

The outreach teams were out again today in the barrios, in orphanages and in prisons. After dinner many of them will go to local churches where the Sunday services do not begin until 7PM. It makes for a long day so please pray for strength.  Weather-wise the temperature is up and down as Argentina shifts from summer to fall.  We have had a few upset stomachs and colds so please pray for the health of all the workers out ministering.

Special Prayer:

The staff outreach teams leader is pretty sick, it could be pneumonia please pray for him.
