| Church Visits | 01-Jul-2007 | Teams were out to visit Sunday services and speak about the upcoming outreaches and rallies that Times Square Church will be conducting. The teams went out in two groups and God not only used them to get the churches excited about the coming events, but He used them to speak to the people!
At one church, they shared how we have been praying as a church for Burundi for one year, and that over 200 people were coming to do free medical clinics and share the Gospel in their communities. After speaking, one of the pastors stood up and said, “seeing the burden that these people have, the fact that they are evangelizing in our community, how they are paying on their own for us, how could we not join with them?” He asked the congregation if they wanted to come to the events and everyone in the church responded.

| Youth Service | 01-Jul-2007 | | We visited a church that was on the avenue called “the avenue of death.” There was a youth service with about 600–700 youth. We encouraged them to live for Christ and told them how God wants to use their lives. We were so blessed to see how excited they were about our visit. We believe that God wants to raise up an army of youth in Burundi that will be sold out for God! |
| Answer to Prayer | 01-Jul-2007 | Even before we set foot in Burundi, we were being shown how this international outreach is an answer to prayer.
A member of the security team met a woman on the plane who was also on her way to Burundi. She was surprised that he was going to her country, but excited when she found out why he was going.
The woman lives in Virginia, but escaped the genocide in Burundi and had not been home in 15 years. She shared that she had been calling organizations to see if they would help her country, and she had been praying at her church that someone would go help her people.
We shared with her how God had put in our pastor's heart to go to Burundi. You could see and sense the excitement of our new friend as we told her about the things God had put in place for Burundi, and the evangelistic rallies and outreaches that would touch all who would come.
It was no accident that this woman was on this flight. No accident that she chose to visit her country for the first time in 15 year at the exact time of our visit. God heard her faithful prayers, and he answered.
