From Buja B to all our precious family and friends 15-Jul-2007 Team: Buja B Thank you all for your prayers. God answered them and more. Sorry you’ve not heard from us. We’ve been busy from dawn to dusk. All of it a tremendous blessing! Every day was different but always God gave us victory. Closing remarks: Medical Clinic Some days we assisted in the medical clinic as they processed hundreds of men, women and children. We ministered to the crowd as they waited for hours and hours in the heat. We sang with them, shared Jesus, gave our testimonies, and prayed and prayed and prayed for them. What a joy to know that Jesus is their healer. The doctors, nurses, surgeons, dentists and pharmacists performed wonders. They are all Spirit-filled and give all the glory to God. Street Outreaches Other days we visited destitute little churches and their precious little flocks. One day we literally climbed a mountain to reach isolated people. They have nothing. Their homes have no running water, let alone electricity and no sanitation. Their children are sick and malnourished but they always welcomed us with joy. We sang, preached God’s Word, gave testimonies, but most of all we loved them. Hundreds received Jesus as their savior. Interpreters: We have to mention our awesome interpreters. When they sang worship songs in our van as we rumbled and bumped to remote places, the joy of the Lord filled us all. God will use these young men and women mightily for His glory! We distributed hundreds of mosquito nets donated by Times Square Church to three villages that form part of one of President Nkuruziza’s projects. The president’s name “Nkuruziza” means good news, how about that?! Goodbye Burundi We leave today with heavy hearts. We’ve felt such love from these dear souls Jesus loves. We thank God for putting us together as a team. Message from Diane: Riki please tell the family I am well! I love you all! Can’t wait to share it all with you!
