| I am a sinner | 12-Jul-2007 | Team: Ngozi A Praises and all the glory to God! Truly we are seeing our prayers being answered in an awesome way. Today we were on our way to the Epamabru Church in North Bukirasqzi, Buja. On our way we stopped to ask about the church’s location. Our leader, Dolores stepped out to ask and soon we found ourselves all on the streets preaching. There was one man who I felt who had a lot of bitterness in his heart. I was led by the spirit to share a part of my testimony and how God had changed my life. He bowed his head and told us that he was a sinner. I told him that this was the reason Jesus had died for him. Humbly he received Christ as his savior and he repented from his sins. God is wonderful. All honor to Him. It’s all about Jesus. -Janette N.

| The Lord had touched her | 07-Jul-2007 | Team: Ngozi A Me and Sonia Mikanagu and an interpreter (both Burundian) did some door-to-door evangelism in Ngosi. Just a few yards from where were were dropped off, there stood a woman at her doorway with a sad, discouraged face. We agreed that this would be the person we'd minister to. She invited us in and we noticed that there was a younger woman sitting on the grass, looking very fatigued (we later found out that she was having symptoms of malaria). We prayed for her (she happended to be a Christian) but her mom wasn't - they were visibly touched, with tears dropping from the eyes as we shared songs, prayers and the word. A group gathered and we ministered to them too. In the midst of it all, I noticed the young woman wasn't sitting in the spot - later we saw her walking with a smile. The Lord had touched her, and her mom, who wasn't a believer, acknowledged the goodness of Jesus. |
| The Power of God | 07-Jul-2007 | Team: Ngozi A We went to the place called Masansanzira and the Lord delivered people from evil spirits. Four ladies gave thier lives to God as they were convicted by our testimonies. |
| It was the first time I shared my testimony | 07-Jul-2007 | Team: Ngozi A God continued to pour out his love today in Ngozi. We returned today to the Four Square Church, where our Burundian brothers and sisteres once again recieved us with songs of welcoming and worship. Most of the team members gave their personal testimonies on how Jesus came into thier lives. It was the first time I shared my testimony. It is also my first missions trip. God is doing so many awesome things! |
| They agreed to the salvation prayers | 06-Jul-2007 | Team: Ngozi A We went near a school. God led us to a crowd of people that had been watching us worship. In that crowd, a couple of young people asked if they could share their questions with us related to salvation, the Holy Spirit and religion. God enabled us to clarify these gospel related news with them. Although, at the beginning it was difficult as they were getting convicted, by the end of the day, God opened thier eyes and gave them understanding and they agreed to the salvation prayers. One of the teenagers that was there, asking lots of questions, showed up the next day at the crusade. |
| Door to door witnessing | 06-Jul-2007 | Team: Ngozi A We went door to door witnessing and people's hearts were open to listen to our message and give thier lives to Christ. Wherever we go people gave us the time and accepted that we pray for them for salvation and healing. |
| She renounced witchcraft | 06-Jul-2007 | Team: Ngozi A The outreach was in two sections - morning and afternoon. In the morning I shared the gospel "Love of God" from house to house. Men, women, and children who came to the Lord were about 20. In the afternoon, a community of rural people received Jesus Christ. A woman who confessed she knew she couldn't go to heaven renounced witchcraft and she and her whole household accepted Jesus. |
| They gave us their time | 06-Jul-2007 | Team: Ngozi A The hearts of the people were open to listen to our message and give their lives to Christ. Everywhere we went people gave us their time and allowed us to pray for salvation and healing for them. |
