Forgiveness07-Jul-2007
Team: Ngozi B
Today we worked with the medical team. In the morning I assisted in the pharmacy and in the afternoon I assisted in the counseling and prayer station.
It was a blessing to interact with the people and share the love of Christ with them and pray for them. There was one particular lady who was about 50 years old. When she came to us she said that she wanted to confess a sin. She lives near the Rwandan border and had come with some people to the clinic.
She said that the people she came with were treated the day before and left without her and now she had no way of getting home, but wanted to ask forgiveness for the bitterness in her heart towards the people who left her stranded.

We prayed with her and she went to the pharmacy to get her medication. But God moved on my heart to try to assist her to get home. She had half of the fare she needed for the journey. I spoke to some people to make sure it was okay to her some assistance,

After she got her medication I called her aside and was able to provide her with the remainder of the fare she needed to get home.
She was so thankful that she immediately dropped to her hands and knees on the floor and began thanking God for the miracle. - Renee B.

God showed up07-Jul-2007

Today, we worked with the medical team and God showed up. We worked in various areas and helped to minister to the people. I had the opportunity to pray for a lady who had been left behind by her friends and had no way to get home because she only had half of the required fare. God prompted me to assist her with the remainder of her fare. When we called her aside later to offer her the assistance she immediately fell to her hands and knees and cried out to God, thanking Him for the miracle he had just performed in her life! Praise God!

Jesus and the children06-Jul-2007
Team: Ngozi B
We divided into teams as we went into a neighborhood in Ngozi. As my team was preparing to go house to house and share about Jesus and the crusade, a group of people gathered around us. An open door, so a team member shared the gospel for about an hour and a half. She talked about God’s love and grace and invited the people to make a decision for Christ. Many of them said the sinner prayer, including some children.

In the evening the team went to another neighborhood. We again broke into smaller teams and went to share the gospel. It was amazinig to see that everywhere we went a crowd would gather around us. Each time one of us would preach and invite the people to receive Jesus. Almost all of them would say the sinner’s prayer.

It was amazing to also see so many children listening attentively to us as we spoke about Jesus.
