Ministry Profile
The Public Evangelism Ministry is exactly what the title would indicate, evangelism in public to the public. Outreaches are held on Saturdays on city streets, in parks, and in subway stations. These outreaches encompass a number of activities that include one on one sharing, handing out tracts, gospels of John and Bibles.
There are many opportunities to pray for people and answer some of their questions about God. Volunteers in this ministry take turns sharing personal testimonies and preaching in order to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. As the apostle Paul writes in II Corinthians 5:20, “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ as though God was pleading through us; we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.”
The foundation of this ministry is prayer and reliance upon God, who sovereignly dictates the events, divine encounters and going in and coming out of all who participate in this ministry. Join us, and be a part of bringing glory to His name!
