What is TSC Missions?
If you extend your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday. The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

Since its founding in 1987, a major emphasis at Times Square Church has been to reach out to the poor, the hungry, the destitute and the addicted. This vision has grown beyond our borders and Times Square Church has been transformed by the Holy Ghost into a missions-focused church taking the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ to nations worldwide.
TSC Missions is the ministry of Times Square Church that responds to this call in three ways:
- By sending short-term mission teams around the world in friendship evangelism
- By supporting international ministries and projects that strike at the heart of poverty, disease and suffering.
- By reaching out to meet the needs of specific target groups within the body of Times Square Church and within the greater New York area, including the homeless, single mothers, the elderly, at-risk youth, drug addicts and others.
The heart of TSC Missions is to be led of the Spirit, to be fueled by prayer and to serve the body of Christ with love and humility wherever there is a need, and wherever the Lord sends us - be it organizing ESL classes for Chinese immigrants in New York City's Chinatown, feeding the homeless on our streets, financing caregivers at a special needs orphanage in Central Asia, or providing care for orphans of HIV/AIDS in South Africa.
Confronted by the seemingly insurmountable needs we have witnessed in New York City and around the world, TSC Missions staff and volunteers are continually challenged to seek the Lord for direction. Our cry is always, "Lord what do you want us to do?" As we pray for His direction and rely on Him as our provider, He is faithful not only to meet needs that would otherwise be impossible to satisfy without Him, but to give us a greater revelation of His glory.
