Domestic Missions
If you extend your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday. The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

A major emphasis at Times Square Church is giving aid to the poor, the hungry, the destitute and the addicted. In responding to this call, domestic missions connects the various ministries and outreaches of Times Square Church that serve its home community - New York City, and the U.S.
The purpose of our domestic outreaches is two-fold: to share the gospel and love of Jesus Christ, and to meet the needs of specific target groups within the body of Times Square Church and within the greater New York area, such as: the homeless, single mothers, the elderly, at-risk youth, drug addicts and others.
Confronted by the seemingly insurmountable needs presented daily, the TSC Missions staff and the various ministry volunteers are continually challenged to seek the Lord for direction. The needs of a city the size of New York are so great that it would be impossible to even begin to meet them. The congregation of Times Square Church represents every demographic, nationality, race and socioeconomic group and the needs are just as diversified. Our cry is always, "Lord what do you want us to do?"
As we pray for His direction and rely on Him as our provider, He is faithful not only to meet needs that would otherwise be impossible to satisfy without Him, but to give us an ever greater revelation of His glory.
