New Songs Series

“I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.” Psalm 40:1–3 (NLT)

Out of life’s greatest trials come some of the most authentic praises to our God. In these moments of brokenness and surrender, God comforts us with an intimate revelation of how awesome and faithful He truly is so we can trust in Him anew.

The psalmist’s testimony above is the same as ours. The New Songs Series compiles new original songs from the hearts of worshippers at Times Square Church who have been lifted out of “the pit” and set on solid ground. These are songs of thanks and adoration to the Lord, often inspired through the worship or the preaching of the Word of God at Times Square Church.

It is our prayer that in sharing these songs with you and others that, “Many will see what he has done and be amazed…[and] put their trust in the Lord” Psalm 40:3.
