November 6, 2008
Dear Pastors,
Greetings! Can you believe we are already into November and our next Pastors Prayer luncheon is just around the corner. We look forward to seeing you and having a wonderful time of prayer and fellowship.
Psalm 142:7 says, “Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.”
What a great verse of scripture; it is a promise that the Lord will gather righteous men and women around us. We have all experienced being surrounded by those who do not want or see the need of a Savior. In fact, there are many times when you feel alone in fighting against the enemy’s attacks. The Lord has promised to surround you with those who love righteousness. They will support you in the work of God. Stand on that promise for your own congregation and you will see His faithfulness.
On November 12th at noon, there will a host of righteous ministers gathered together in one place to pray and support one another in the ministry. Come and join us, be an encouragement as you are encouraged.
This is the month to give thanks to the Lord, we all have a lot to be grateful for; so let us unite in prayer and worship. A warm “Thanksgiving” dinner will be served.
In Him,
Treg McCoy
