Just wanted to share a testimony with you that was submitted to me from a team member of the Thursday night team….it shows God’s faithfulness to come to all who cry out to Him in these dark and uncertain times we are in! Lois, has a friend named Loretta that was diagnosed with a severe and chronic pulmonary lung disease (COPD). This is a fatal lung disease and can severely deteriorate the functions of the lung. Loretta has been living in a nursing home for 3 yrs and has been told that she will die soon and there is no hope for her.. Lois has not seen Loretta in more than 20 years. In August of last year, she saw Loretta for the first time and said that it was not the same person she once knew. Lois began to share her testimony about how Jesus transformed her life and Loretta began to weep bitterly. She wanted to accept Christ into her life and told Lois she did not want to die. She was led to pray the sinners prayer and made a commitment to God on that wonderful day. They both began to cry and rejoice together. Lois said it was an intense moment and she knew that Loretta was receiving a miracle from God. She knew only He could perform this miracle to heal Loretta. Well, He did! When the doctors told her it was impossible for her to leave the nursing home, she left the facility in November. She is now living in an apt along with an-around-the-clock nurse. She has also become a candidate for a lung transplant! She is scheduled for a series of tests at Columbia Presbyterian on May 19th 2011. Let’s remember Loretta in our prayers and believe for God Almighty’s hand to perform another miracle for her. Thank you in advance for your prayers…..
A miracle in progress
