What is this grand conspiracy forming in the world today? What is the source of this agitation? Satan has succeeded in sowing his
character in humanity that says we can be our own judge and determine for ourselves what is good and what is evil. The only
impediment to this misguided journey in this society is now on God and His people who stand in stark contrast showing the world
there is a God, and there is something called sin. Sin separates us from God, not just in time but for eternity. There is only one King
in this world and Jesus is the only King that can show mercy to a sinner and declare them forgiven and cleansed. If you are a
casual Christian living in compromise the Holy Spirit will help you escape the boundaries of your own stubbornness and empower
you to live in the boundaries of God's kingdom.
In between asking God for something and receiving what we asked for, there is a gap of time where we can become angry,
confused, and hopeless waiting for God to answer our prayer. Because God is a loving Father, He will never give us a position or
possession that our immaturity could sabotage. When you ask God for something, you won’t get the thing you asked for right away,
instead you will get a journey to get you ready for the thing you’re asking for. While you’re waiting, ask God to grow you and trust
that God’s timing is the best timing for you.
How much do you esteem God's purpose for your life? When the American Church abdicated their purpose; when we lost the fervency to preach the Gospel and the passion to save the lost, we opened the door for
deception and imposters. In our slumber, swindlers crept into the church and they grabbed pulpits by deceit which were not rightfully theirs.
There is something that is coming to this society that is God induced and Spirit inspired. If you are restless and tired of pretending your living in victory, don't be ashamed to lift up your voice and call out to God, He
will break the yoke of bondage off your neck, bless you and make you a blessing.
We are living in a moment of history where we must understand the largeness of God’s heart. When we pray, what would it be like if we stopped asking God to do something, and simply agreed with Him for what He has
already determined to do? As we learn to obey the Lord’s promptings, we will spend more time in prayer saying “Yes Lord” than asking Him to do something. The future of this nation will always be connected with the
prayers of God’s people. God is initiating a moment in history where He desires to be merciful, when we begin to pray “Yes Lord” and become fully engaged with the work of God, those around us will bow their heads
and begin to worship Him.
The Bible is God speaking to us. If we do not read the Bible how will we know His voice and obey His Word? As we draw near to God,
He will speak to us from a place of mercy. Successful living comes by reading, studying, and obeying God’s Word. The benefits of
reading God’s word is joy, healing, purity and freedom. As we begin the new year, be intentional on setting time aside to read God’s
word and pray every day.
As believers we are to be a people separated to the holy things of God. It’s such a tragedy when the Church of Jesus Christ becomes mixed in with the value system of the world and becomes a prey to a false seductive form of cheap grace. In the year 2017 it is time to decide to be the people of God and trust the Holy Spirit for the power to turn away from everything that is called sin. When we turn back to the place where God has called us, we come to the realization that God is willing to give us the power we need, not only to be blessed, but to become a blessing to others. In 2017 choose to walk out of compromise and to embrace Jesus.
The night shift is symbolic of an undesired place of loneliness and failure. The birth of Jesus brings us good news of great joy. Jesus wraps Himself in the rags of humanity and comes to us in the places of our deepest struggles, failures, and disappointments. He is willing to indwell us so He can be God to us. This Christmas, come with haste to the invitation of the Good News of Jesus Christ and you will be forgiven and given a wonderful new life.
As humans we have a tendency to become bored with the familiar. There is a grave danger of taking the presence of God for granted. God forbid that we should be involved in God’s works with a passionless repetition. The only thing that can stop the work of God in our lives is the lethargy in our own hearts. This is not the time to draw back, we must press into the future because God has something deeper and greater for us than ever before. If we are willing to overcome the compromise in our hearts, God will open up a supply of His Spirit and the lamp of our testimony will burn brighter and brighter.
When God came to earth, in the form of His Son Jesus Christ, the veil was suddenly torn and Heaven came into view. The first veil
was Heaven coming to us, the second veil was torn so that we are no longer separated from the presence of God. The third veil is
that which separates us from the fullness of what we are called to be in Christ Jesus. God has won a victory that takes us out of
every place of weakness and brings us into His redemptive power. May we find ourselves in a place of prayer, anticipating the
power of the Holy Spirit so we can burst out of the veil of obscurity and step into the market place and begin to talk about the
wonderful things that God is about to do.
Have you ever had someone who was acting like a punk, activate the punk in you? We all have a punkish tendency; the Bible calls it sin. Under the right circumstances we will do the wrong thing because we were all born with a sinful nature. The Just and loving God can be found at the Cross where justice, punished the sin and love, saved the sinner. God saves us and then places a calling on our life and through the process, the punk in us diminishes, and the spirit of Christ flourishes. Because of Bethlehem we know the day and the way God saved us from our sins.
God’s ways are not always easy to understand and we may never get an explanation for some of the dark valleys we go through, but we can trust that God knows what is best for us. In times of trials and afflictions, God is teaching us to depend on Him. If we are going to represent God we must be prepared to partaker in His suffering. Through the process God is producing something inside of us to help us minister to others. The answer to your suffering is the simple fact that God is faithful and through it all He will give us all we need to get through every trial and storm.
One of the enemy’s main tactics to discourage us and keep us from growing in ministry, is to constantly condemn the righteous. The enemy will constantly point out our fears so that we begin to lose confidence and trust in Christ, who is our Salvation. No weapon will prosper against us. because we have been given the Righteousness and Holiness of God, as a gift because of what Jesus accomplished on the Cross, for us. Our Heavenly Father has assigned us a place in Christ to rightly condemn the condemner. The next time the Devil comes to condemn you, it is your privilege to shut him up and shut him down in Jesus Name!
As believers in Jesus Christ we should be concerned for the spiritual future of this nation and for the souls of those who are lost. We just recognize that the testimony of Jesus Christ has little strength and consider that the beginning of a spiritual awakening is when we in humility admit our condition. In this moment of time we are given a choice, Jesus has set before us an open door. Do we stay in our smallness or do we get up in faith and walk through the open door into the victory of the Cross? As God’s people we have a responsibility to get up and believe God for the power to find the full purpose that He has for our life.
Do you have a deep desire to be a clean vessel for God? Are you willing to put away evil practices, ungodly relationships, and unclean speech? If we regard iniquity in our heart and give place to wrong behavior God will not hear our prayers, but if we order our conduct God will command a blessing and cause us to bring glory to His name. True prayer will bring honor to Jesus Christ again. We are desperate for a spiritual awakening and it’s the only thing that will save this nation. We must find our unity at the Cross and trust God for the power to look and sound more like Jesus.
As a nation we have turned away from God, that’s why truth doesn’t matter much anymore. We are at the edge of losing the awareness of God because the majority of our society is godless. The human heart has the capability of becoming so hard that some people will not admit that God’s ways are right and repent of their sin. Wisdom is God’s Presence, Spirit and Knowledge in society and it cries out for a response. Today, if you hear the voice of wisdom don’t hardened you heart. God will never laugh at an honest heart no matter how deep your struggle is. Whoever opens their heart to His wisdom will dwell safely and be secure without fear of evil.
Do you find it difficult to pray? The bad news is none of us really know how to pray. The good news is the Holy Spirit is our helper in prayer. Our prayer will always come up short in power and emotion, but God is committed to take our prayers beyond our simple words and add power to it. When we pray, it’s important to remember it’s not about the one who is praying, but it’s about the one we are praying to. The only way we can fail in prayer, is if we don’t show up to pray.
The church of Jesus Christ is going to recover and discover their strength in God alone. For too long we have been too strong. We can be confident in our ability to a certain point until we face something that’s beyond our ability. When we get to a place where we have nothing left but a confidence in God, He will take us in our weakness and become our strength. Victory comes when in our feebleness we enter into His victory.
Sometimes we are more committed to the high seat than we are committed to serve. If you make an effort to exalt yourself, God will humble you, but if you take the low seat you are putting yourself in a great position to be used by God. The key to compelling others into the kingdom is a humble spirit. Our love for others must come from the love we have for Jesus. In the high place we are motivated to get something in return but in the low place we serve others for the Glory of God. If we are compelled by the love of the Jesus we will be empowered to compel others to the Cross.
Spiritual depression is something that can happen to the godliest among us. It can afflict those whose hearts are tender and passionate for truth, and who long for a return to right living in their society. If left unabated, spiritual depression can lead to isolation from everyone and everything. We are exhorted in the book of Hebrews; Do not neglect the assembling of yourselves. Don’t try to go at it alone! As you come through these dark places, there will be a compassion deposited in your heart from the suffering, that was never there before. You will begin to recognize that, without God, I can do nothing. But with God I can do all things!
There are no coincidences with God, His hand is in every situation. Through the life of Paul, we learn that we have been captivated for a divine purpose and if Christ is in us, then God’s purpose for us cannot be stopped by hard circumstances. When we stop asking God to get us out of where we are and allow Him to show us the reason why He’s positioned us in difficult situations, our lives become a lighthouse that guides others out of danger and darkness. Don’t think what you’re going through is strange, like Paul, use your place of captivation as an opportunity to spread the Gospel and free those around you from their chains.
When Jesus is being crucified on Calvary, He cries, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken Me?” In that statement you can hear
the brokenness of His heart. In the Book of Luke, third and fourth chapter, we find that He was filled with the Spirit; He was led by the Spirit. Everything that Jesus did, He did by the Spirit. Every single one of us, if we live right in Christ Jesus, are going to have to endure times, when we wonder, ‘God, where are you?’ How do I know that my complaint is not a complaint against God, but one that is instead orchestrated by God; inspired by God; breathed by God; drawn out by God, because it’s marshalled by God. It’s funneled by God, so that it flows a certain way.
We know that the Holy Spirit is inspiring our cry when we can say ‘Nevertheless, not my will, but thine be done. As long as I allow the tears to be Spirit-led – the key is to never cry alone.
“Now the Lord had said to Abram: ‘Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you’” (Genesis 12:1). In spite of this incredible promise, the descendants of Abraham ended up in another place and in another spiritual condition serving their taskmasters. Like many of God’s people, you may have settled in a place that is far short of what you’re called to be, and you’re doing things that you know you shouldn’t be doing. A little bit of sexual play, a little snort; a little peek, what can it hurt? Then these things that offered you comfort become your taskmaster.
God in His mercy would not leave His own people in captivity, and neither will He leave you in captivity when you make the choice to cry out to Him. So cry out to Him. God will free you and take you on an incredible journey. It won’t be a journey where you’re always running from your former enemies, but a journey with a song and a vision that will give you endurance to get through even the hottest fire and the deepest river.
When we are facing a flood of godlessness trying to purport itself as good; when we are at a moment in history when we are being marginalized; when we are being vilified; when we are being pushed to the side-lines of society, Jesus Christ, because of His mercy, will make His church aware of our need of Him again.
By mercy and grace, just like he did with Paul, God will allow this buffeting of His body to finally bring us to the place of saying, “God, we can’t do this without you!” To finally bring us to the place where we, in humility, go back to prayer again.
Humankind typically despises weakness. We have a tendency throughout history to shun the simplicity of faith, and gravitate to something more visual, more hands-on, more self-satisfying. Do we live our whole life trying to get out of the very things that God has sent to make us strong?
God says, I have to make you weak first, so you can be strong because your strength is not in yourself! Your strength is in Me; it’s in the power of My Spirit within your life. But it only comes when we are out of the way. It’s the ultimate irony in a sense, when we become weak, we become strong.
The plan of Satan is to steal, to kill, and to destroy everyone that belongs to Christ. The problem is that so many times we are looking at the front door that we don’t see how God is protecting us behind the scenes. Our response to this invisible war is prayer. Pray and let God worry about it. We are so ready to praise God for what we know He is doing that we forget to praise Him for what we don’t know He is doing for us. Sometimes we just need to thank God for taking care of that stuff we don’t know about. Praise Him for what you don’t even know is happening. Our job is not to figure it out. All God wants us to do, is thank Him.
It was right after the resurrection that Jesus showed Himself to His disciples and He began to give them some insight as to what the Father had planned for His Kingdom. And He said to them, “It is not for you to know the times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.”
We must be open to the idea that God as our Father reserves the right to bring us into seasons according to His own wisdom. He knows what’s best for us, even though things don’t change at the rate we want them to change, we have a promise from Jesus. In every season and through every trial we are given the power to be a witness for God.
The Holy Spirit is given to us so we can overcome every adversity and become martyrs. A martyr is someone who is not interested in holding on to their own life, but has been given the power of the Holy Spirit to lay their life down for others and become witnesses for Jesus Christ. God begins to change us within, so we can change the world around us.
How are you preparing yourself to come to church on Sunday morning? We need to remember we come together to bless one another. Psalm 133 says, “how good it is to dwell in unity,” it does not say how easy it is. If unity is the place where God blesses, we have a choice to make. Will I be a life breaker or a life builder? The supernatural unity God gives will be a magnet to draw people together and it will help us to stay focused on building up the Body of Christ and saving the lost. We must never take lightly the freedom and blessing we have to come together.
If you are in a spiritual slumber, like the foolish who built their life on their own good deeds, there is hope for you. The pride of the human heart will always try to cling to its own works and strength. Today, we are reminded that it doesn’t matter how dark the hour gets and even if the church is slumbering there is hope in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus has given us all the oil we need in the person of the Holy Spirit. This is a time for the greatest revelation of Jesus Christ. The word to the wise is, stop doubting God and put your faith in the fact that God will awaken His church with an outpouring of His Holy Spirit. Our light will never go out because Christ is our light.
It’s human nature that when we become familiar with something, we can become bored with it over time. We become bored with prayer, we become bored with going to church, but there’s’ a cry now in the nation – it may not be audible – but God hears it. A cry from a distance because they don’t have access to the throne of God the way you and I do as the bride of Christ.
God is calling an Esther generation to rise up and plead for mercy on behalf of others. Esther is the type of a Christian in this generation who says, “My relationship with the king isn’t what it used to be. We’ve kind of cooled off. As a matter of a fact, He hasn’t even been speaking to me recently.” Esther knew that when we go towards the king it could cost us our lives. Our prayer is, “Not my will, but thine,” realizing that if we fully embrace the will of God, it could be an unpleasant experience for us. But in that place of being abandoned to the will of God, for the sake of others, Esther found favor and wisdom from heaven. In that place, she found the power to re-write the law of death into the law of life. That, I believe, is what the king had always been looking for.
You and I are called to more than Sunday religion, we’re called to reign with Christ. If you and I are willing to pray, if we’re willing to put our lives; our freedom, everything we are behind that prayer, God once again, can put into our hands the power to re-write a season of death into a season of life.
When we first came to Christ we knew we desperately needed Him. It’s all Jesus in the beginning, then it’s Jesus and us, and then we say thank you, I can take it from here. Galatians 3:3 echoes this dilemma: are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit are you now being made perfect by the flesh. God’s heart is to give strength to those who would call out to Him in their need. If you feel you’re stuck in a place where you can’t move forward, don’t be too proud to cry out to the Lord. God in His mercy is waiting for you to humble yourself and cry out to Him.
The oldest trick in the book is for the devil to doubt God’s love for us and our love for God. There can be times in our life, because of a personal struggle, we begin to feel that God can’t use us anymore. We decide that because of our failure, we will never reach our spiritual potential, and that there should always be a gap or a chasm between us and Christ.
The best way to confront this old trick; this old lie of the devil, is to allow Jesus Himself to draw something out of you that you still have, but is buried under your guilt. God will begin to ask a question that is first priority- Do you love me? Love for God is not something that we muster up in ourselves. It is something that Jesus draws out of us because he has placed it in us though The Holy Spirit. We love Him with a supernatural love; a love that comes from God and goes to God. If you allow God to draw certain realities that He’s invested in you, your victory will begin to overshadow your struggles and you will be renewed and restore.
If you are living with a sense that happiness is fleeting, God has a word for you. It is the desire of God, for all who walk with Him, to be happy. Happiness flows from a life whose roots are in God, His values, His Word and His power. If you are serious about pursuing God’s life for yourself, you are going to have to lower your engagement in certain activities, environments, conversations and relationships and drastically raise your commitment to that which brings life to your soul. As you delight in God’s word and choose to walk in His ways, He will renew your spirit and keep you from becoming dry and barren.
Before making a decision about a relationship you need to ask yourself some important questions.
Do I know who I am in Christ? Do I define myself by Christ? Does this person I am engaging define themselves by Christ; do we have a similar sense of call and are we moving in the same direction?
Have I allowed the Spirit of God to redefine in me what true love is?
For a sound and solid relationship, the first thing that should be considered is the identity of the individuals who were created in the image of God after His likeness. It begins with their identity and then it goes to their compatibility. The Bible says that when God created Eve, He created her as one who reflects Adam. In other words, they have a sense of compatibility. They can see something of themselves in one another. They recognize who they are as individuals and they recognize that they are really good together; that there is something about their chemistry. They see God in one another, and they see an element of themselves in one another. And it’s not just the man and the woman loving each other, it is ultimately God hovering over that relationship. Then it will be godly and it will be sound.
There is a concentrated effort from the powers of darkness to destroy God’s people. In times of crisis we need to change our routine in order to engage with God. We don’t dare
confront fear without facing God. When you don’t know what to do, seek the Lord in prayer. As you turn to God, He will do something supernatural. Stand firm, hold your position,
begin to worship and God will ambush the enemy’s plan to ambush you.
We have become an instant society. We want to press a button and we want a picture to pop up. When we pray we want God to answer on our timetable, but God doesn’t work
like that. God answers in His time and in His way.
In Luke Chapter 18, Jesus gave us a parable that men ought to always pray and not lose heart, to get the principle across that we may not see the answer to our prayer
immediately, the way we want to see it.
Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and
the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. The question is: when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth? Will He have a people with the kind of faith
that believes they have the answer though they don’t see it, but choose to persist in prayer?
Acts 1. On the heels of the resurrection and Jesus ascending to Heaven, the disciples were about to enter into the most difficult time in Christianity. To be a follower of Jesus
meant you would be persecuted and even be put to death. Why did they kill the early Christians? It was not for worshipping Jesus. It was because they wouldn’t worship and
acknowledge the other gods of the Roman Empire (Francis Schaeffer). In other words, they were saying, “You can worship your Jesus, but you have to call every other religion
That’s the generation we are living in today. In order to prepare us for what is ahead, Jesus left us a good and perfect gift – the gift of the Holy Spirit. And when we are filled with
the Holy Spirit, we are empowered not only to witness, but to become a witness.
The Holy Spirit is not a luxury, the Holy Spirit is a necessity.
After a season of multiplication, we will be led into a storm. In the midst of our trials God is wanting to soften and renew our heart. While the storm rages we must cultivate a
teachable spirit to receive correction and also remind ourselves of the Lord’s past faithfulness. The miraculous begins after the brokenness.
May 29, 2016 - There will be seasons in every Christian’s walk when it seems like God is not listening to our prayers. Desperate times call for desperate measures and in these
times, God will provoke us to go deeper and further into prayer before the answer comes. God will strengthen us to continue in prayer and as we keep on knocking and seeking,
hope will break through.
May 22, 2016 - When we live in conformity to God’s truth and God’s plan we are made strong through prayer by the operation of the Holy Spirit. When God finds a sincere heart, He
inspires our prayers. God wants to do a work in your life that causes people to turn back to Him. When we walk in right relation to God our lives become unstoppable.
May 15, 2016 - If you are feeling weak and alone this message reminds us to consider one another, to stir up love and exhort one another, so we can strengthen each other in
fellowship. There is an incredible strength to be found in coming to the House of God. Let’s make the choice to come together and encourage one another.
May 8, 2016 - This message is for those who wonder, “what can I do to make a difference in such an evil time?” If you are living in a house where there is compromise and the devil shows up at your tent, don’t run away, step out and face him and God will give you a revelation of the victory of the Cross. In Christ, women have spiritual authority and the power to drive a tent peg right into the head of the enemy.
May 1, 2016 - Do you feel like am overwhelming force is coming against you? There is fearfulness, violence and strife in the city. This message is for those whose only refuge is prayer. Prayer causes something to happen in the supernatural realm. When we pray God will open our eyes and we will begin to see that the power of Heaven is with us and we are not alone and the powers of hell can be broken.
April 24, 2016 - Jesus is the bread of life, He came down from heaven not to do His own will but to do the will of His Father. Don’t walk
away from Jesus to go your own way and do your own will. If you want to be truly satisfied in this life, make the choice to pray, “not my will
but thine be done.” After you make that choice, prepare to be sent and supplied with supernatural power.
April 17, 2016 - Do you find yourself in a place where you're reluctant to go deeper with God? Could it be that God is allowing the
opposition your facing to get you to wake up? In the midst of trials and opposition when you choose to go deeper, God will give you an
inner power that cannot be conquered. You are not losing the battle instead you are being strengthened, not only for yourself but for all
those around you who don’t know Jesus.
