New Music CD by Kate Conlon
Kate Conlon has been involved in volunteer missions work since her early teens. “Each trip has had a new impact on my life and brings with it incredible perspective.” As a singer and songwriter, Kate has always dreamed of incorporating music into missions and now that dream is coming true. This August, TSC Music will be releasing Kate’s second music CD, Cry Beautiful, and a 100% of the profits will go to feed hungry children around the world through ChildCry. As described by Kate, the music on this CD is “an organic blend of pop and folk with maybe just a pinch of blues. Findlay Avenue Outreach
This August marks the fifth year of the Findlay Avenue Outreach in the Bronx. This outreach is organized by the Strictly Young People Ministry of Times Square Church. Once again Truce, part of Nicky Cruz Ministries, will be joining our Youth Praise Choir (YPC) to minister through music to the youth of this community. There will be a basketball tournament, a double-dutch contest, games, arts and crafts, and refreshments. The Lord has blessed this outreach with a bountiful harvest of souls each year. Please pray that God will use our young people to continue to bring His children home to Him

Women’s Fall Retreat Update
“Unshackled,” the women’s fall retreat scheduled for September 5th to 7th, has been postponed until 2009 to allow for Women’s Ministry involvement in Prayer in the Square.
