Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established” (NKJV). Another translation puts it this way, “Roll your works upon the Lord,” (commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will), “so shall your plans be established and succeed” (AMP).

What an incredible promise! We can come to the Lord with any decision, situation, or task that is before us. It doesn’t matter how large or small, how serious or minuscule it might seem. We can release the weight of it to Him. He will help us. He will see us through.

Psalm 55:22 says, “Cast your burden on the Lord,” (releasing the weight of it), “and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be moved,” (AMP). I can’t tell you how many times over the years The Lord has proven this to me. In family situations, with ministry concerns, or when other needs have arisen, He has been there waiting for me with His arms open wide. As we entrust our cares and burdens to Him, He promises to lead us along the right path. He will guide us. “In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths,” (Proverbs 3:6, AMP).

In the end we succeed because He is in control and we are in the center of His will! Praise God! “Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass,” (Psalm 37:5, NKJV).
